So, I thought I would do a quick check to where these superduper delegates really stand. Excluding Ron Brown, and other deceased former DNC chairs, it appears as if there are fourteen surviving DNC chairs. At present seven of them are supporting Clinton, five are supporting Obama and two remain uncommitted.

Here are my notes on the DNC Chairs:
<!--break-->
Howard Dean (2005-) Vermont
No endorsement yet. (He really can't as DNC chair, although he is calling on Superdelegates to make their positions known.

Terrence R. McAuliffe (2001-2005) Virginia
McAuliffe is Chair of Clinton's campaign.

Joseph Andrew (1999-2001) Indiana
Recently endorsed Obama.

Edward G. Rendell (1999-2001) Pennsylvania
Rendell was General Chairperson when Andrew was Chair. He has been a long time supporter of Clinton.

Steven Grossman (1997-1999) Massachusetts
Grossman has been very involved in Clinton's campaign since early 2007.

Roy Romer (1997-1999) Colorado
Romer was General Chairperson when Grossman was Chair. At present he appears to be uncommitted.

Donald Fowler (1995-1997) South Carolina
Fowler is supporting Clinton. I don't have any additional details.

Christopher J. Dodd (1995-1997) Connecticut
Dodd was General Chairperson when Fowler was Chair. After ending his presidential bid, he endorsed Obama.

Debra DeLee (1994-1995) Massachusetts
DeLee has endorsed Clinton

David Wilhelm (1993-1994) Ohio
Wilhelm was the National Manager of Bill Clinton's campaign in 1992. He endorsed Obama back in February.

Ron Brown (1989-1993) New York
Brown died in 1996, and because of this has not publicly endorsed either candidate. However, the Clinton campaign has noted that his family has endorsed Clinton.

Paul G. Kirk, Jr. (1985-1989) Massachusetts
Yesterday, Kirk switched his endorsement from Clinton to Obama yesterday according to
Bloomberg.

Charles T. Manatt (1981-1985) California
Manatt supports Clinton.

John C. White (1978-1981) Texas
White died in 1995. I have no information about who his family supports.

Kenneth M. Curtis (1977-1978) Maine
Curtis supports Clinton.

Robert S. Strauss (1972-1977) Texas
Strauss appears to be uncommitted at this point.

Jean Westwood (1972) Utah
Deceased

Lawrence F. O'Brien (1968-1969, 1970-1972) Massachusetts
Deceased

Fred R. Harris (1969-1970) Oklahoma
Harris has endorsed Obama
